As well as technical skills, a pet grooming course will give you several soft skills such as excellent customer service skills, problem-solving, planning and organising and self-management. To further enhance your understanding of the pet grooming industry, it is crucial to take note of any animal care facility that you visit and observe the various housekeeping duties, high standards of cleanliness and styling methods used. A salon reception for a dog grooming business or veterinarian facility is also a great place to get an understanding of the industry.
